The Emulation Lodge of Improvement Annual
Festival 2012
The Festival will be held at Freemasons' Hall, Great Queen Street, London WC2B
and we are honoured that RW Bro John Michael Webb, Provincial Grand Master of
Essex, has consented to preside. It is a great honour to be asked to preside at
this Annual Festival and the Provincial Grand Master hopes that as many Essex
Brethren as possible will attend and support him.
The principal offices are filled by members of the Committee and selected
brethren assist in working sections of the Lectures. On this occasion the
offices of Deacon and Inner Guard are filled by members of the Grand Stewards'
Lodge in token of their surveillance of our working of the lectures according to
their custom.
The evening will consist of a demonstration of the
following four sections of the Emulation Lectures;
- 2nd Section of 1st Lecture
- 4th Section of 1st Lecture
- 6th Section of 1st Lecture
- 5th Section of 2nd Lecture
Doors will be opened at 4.30pm and the Lodge at 5.30pm. Dinner will be served in
The Grand Connaught Rooms at 7.15 pm at a cost of £35.00 for a Combined Temple
and Dining Ticket. Attendance to the meeting without dining will cost £5.00.
Please note, as the Lodge is opened in all three degrees, Brethren below the
Rank of Master Masons are not able to attend
