Declaration of Interests.
Rulings in the European Court leave us in no doubt that requirements for a ‘declaration of interest’ which is specifically aimed at Freemasonry are illegal, and these are challenged in the most robust manner.
Portsmouth City Council and Fareham Borough Council have now withdrawn all references to Freemasonry in their recruitment documentation for Council employees. Hertfordshire County Council have also withdrawn references to Freemasonry in their recruiting documentation.
